Hello there

I am a web designer who's gaining more skills each month in my spare time and I've reached the stage where I would like to make a portfolio. I want it to be creative and unique in every possible way and so need to create my own graphics for such a task.

I have seen some creative graphics in my time and was curious to know how to create a certain type of graphic found at the URL below.

It's pretty much the background image used on this website.
I've looked for tutorials on how to create this type of style in graphics but had little luck. I am curious to know if it's a photoshop kind of job that can produce this, or whether there are other programs on the Internet to create this kind of art. (or any other ideas about this graphic)

Hopefully I can learn how to create this type of thing :)

Thank you for reading and any help given is truly appreciated.
All the best,
Owen Ayres.

Well in one of the myriad of 3d rendering programs out there. You'd probably get pre-made nature features in those programs as well (or at least as paid plugins) that let's you design these kind of things quicker.

It seems the guy owning the site is also the designer - why not ask him which tools he uses?...
