View Full Version : Wanting to build a talent calculator

I've tried getting help on the javascript forum, but I know the talent calculator consists of both CSS and javascript files, but I'm a complete newbie when it comes to CSS and Javascript.

I want to build a talent calculator similar to some of the ones I've linked below here, but it's for a different game that's not even out yet and just want to get prepared for when it does.

If anyone would be willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried copying most of the files that I've found from the talent calculator linked below. I'm not about to steal this persons work. I just wanted something to go by, so I had an idea as to go about creating one. I've got it built together for the most part, but the actual images itself are not showing. There are two different versions of most of the images, as you can see if you click the link. Some of the little squares are grayed out and unclickable. However, if you click one and add points into it, if the number of points required is met, then a square below will lighten up. It's 2 different image files for those squares, but I just can't get the squares to show up.

Here is the talent calculator I'm talking about.

If someone would be willing to help lend their knowledge and time to help me create one, I'd greatly appreciate it. As I've said, I'm a complete java/css newbie, so the person would be in for a lot of work.
