View Full Version : Banner Image size and placement

I have the banner image uploaded and is working on the site. only 2 small problems. The placement is too close to center (need it left) , and also the image size seems to be restricted. I have doubled the actual image size then what is being displayed in the banner, yet won't show REAL image size.

The css coding for the image and header are:

/*=== Header ===*/
#header h1 { float:left; padding: 10px 0; width:100; position:relative;
left:-50px; /}
#header { margin:0 auto; padding:0; width:962px; }
#header h2 { font-size:36px; font-weight:bold; padding:30px 0 20px;}
/*- Logo -*/
.logo { margin:0; padding:0; float:left; width:auto; height:110px; }
.logo h1 { margin:0; padding:30px 10px 12px 0; width:auto; font-size:36px; font-weight:normal; line-height:1.1em; color:#fff; }
.logo h1 a { color:#fff; }
.logo h1 a:hover { text-decoration:none; }
.logo h1 small { display:block; margin:0; padding:0; color:#b3b3b3; font:normal 12px/1em "Liberation sans", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height:1em; letter-spacing:normal; }

And the Header.php for the image looks like this:

<div id="header">
<!-- logo-->
<div class="logo">
<h1><a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> - <?php bloginfo('description'); ?>">
<img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/PMC_banner.png" />
</a> </h1>
<!-- /logo-->

Any help is greatly appreciated.
