View Full Version : 2-column text boundaries

So this is my last major hurtle before I can call my main page (http://www.mikelovdal.com/mikelovdalcom_5/index2.html) finished and move on to other things.

I've managed to get myself a 2-column layout that does what I want, how I want it. How can I keep it centered with everything else so it doesn't jet out awkwardly to the right like that.

Thanks to everyone who has been helping me through this! I really appreciate your efforts, especially because my next job is riding on the success of this site.

This should fix it

change it to this:

#welcome_p {
text-align: justify;
width: 665px;
margin: 10px auto;
padding: 10px 10px 10px 0px;

i've changed width and padding-left

That definitely helped! Not quite there though. Link has changed to here (http://www.mikelovdal.com/mikelovdalcom_5/index.html), btw. I've dropped the "2" from index, abandoning an initial concept in favor of this.

I got it! Thank to your suggestion, I played with the margins enough to get 'er done. Thanks!
