Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and need help. I'm not much of a programmer but I added a new mouseover feature to my photography blog that I was pretty excited about.

I am getting some reports this morning that the feature does not work on internet explorer and was hoping you all could help me figure out why?

Here is a link to the blog post: http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/2011/01/beneath-galveston-pier/

Here is the code I created to make the image show the before and after when hovering the mouse over this image...

<img title="this" onmouseover="this.src='http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/GalvestonPier2.jpg';" onmouseout="this.src='http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/GalvestonPier.jpg';" src="http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/GalvestonPier.jpg" alt="" width="" height="" />

Am I doing something wrong? How can I make this work in all browsers?

Hello jamesbrandon,
Believe it or not, the image is there. It's just IE has rendered it 1px square.

That works better when you give it the right size, like this -

<p>
<img title="this" onmouseover="this.src='http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/GalvestonPier2.jpg';"
onmouseout="this.src='http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/GalvestonPier.jpg';"
src="http://jamesbrandon.cc/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/GalvestonPier.jpg" alt="description goes here" width="800" height="533" />
</p>

Awesome, thank you very much! I updated the code if someone could test it out for me in IE. I'm on a mac and don't have access to it.

It's working here on IE8.
