View Full Version : books on javascript/java/actionscript

Does any one know of any good books with real examples on scripting in these languages.
I got books which explain etc, know all about functions etc, but I lack real capabilities in using the knowledge inreal life.
I find that books are either just reference books with explanations of what functions are bla bla bla...
Or books with examples of uses but no real explanation of the thinking so that one can develop programming logic behind it all.
Just there to copy...
Anyone any ideas???
