View Full Version : Resolved Can I load html into a Lightbox (instead of an img, etc)?

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to finish up my website here, and I've got a lightbox question. I'm familiar (let's say 80%) with how the lightbox works, etc, and was planning on using one to display some 'inline html', but I wonder this:

Is there any way to use a lightbox like a frame and actually load an html file off the server to display?

For context, I'm making a 'netlabel'. I'll have something like 12-15 artists to represent. I'll have the list of names in a column on the main page, and I'd like the user to be able to click any one to open a short bio with links to download their hosted releases, etc. I was thinking the easiest way to do this would be to save each bio as a simple html file, that way I can keep an easy template and let the artists update their own info. So then, when you click the artist name at the main page, it opens up the light box and tells it to load "joe-shmo.html"

Is this possible?
If so, could someone point me to a good lightbox to use?

Thanks so much, Bryan
