View Full Version : Remove white space between header image and table

Sep 26th, 2010, 04:33 PM
I'm trying to place a table right after a image being used as the header in order to use it as the navigation bar, but there is white space between the two objects, and I can't seem to get rid of it. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's really kind of pathetic actually.

<img style="width: 1365px; height: 72px;" alt=""
style="width: 1365px; height: 58px; text-align: left; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"
border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

Might be that mysterious gap (http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Images,_Tables,_and_Mysterious_Gaps), which can be removed by setting display:block; or some float to that img element.

PS: Don't you know why using tables for layout is stupid (http://www.hotdesign.com/seybold/)?

Thanks! That helped.

Plus that hotdesign website is really interesting
