Everything looks fine in Dreamweave, then I view it in IE8 and the text has moved down a line and messed up all my alignment. I want it level with my Menu on the left.

please see here.

IE Bugs (http://www.positioniseverything.net/explorer.html)

IE Conditional Statements (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms537512.aspx)

Even IE 8 may require a separate IE ONLY CSS file. You can use the conditional statements to call it. IE never measures/parses a web page like other browsers. :P

HTML errors (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.garybrookerdesign.com%2Fhome.html)

HTML Tidy flagged these:

line 40 column 21 - Warning: <img> escaping malformed URI reference
Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute
Warning: <table> lacks "summary" attribute
Warning: <table> lacks "summary" attribute
Warning: <table> lacks "summary" attribute
Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute

Might try correcting the errors and see if the changes help.
