Can someone please advise me where I went wrong with my coding for IE?

The site works perfectly with every browser but that one.

This is what it SHOULD look like.

www.cyrience.com

If you view it in IE7 for windows, more than half of the left side of the main content area is being cutoff by the sidebar on the left. The type at the top does not render correctly, nor does the copyright info in the sidebar under my navigation links.

I only have access to a MAC, so trial and error while I'm coding is very difficult.

It's the position:fixed on #sidebar1 that's giving you the problem, I think. Try adding left:10% to your css for this element. That looks like it sorts things.

The text at the bottom of the sidebar is too large almost certainly because you haven't closed a tag properly. The validator (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cyrience.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0) throws a few errors of this type - work through these and it should solve your problems.
