hello,

let's say you had a site like this:
www.food.com

and then you had a sub-page:
www.food.com/bread.html

how do you code it so you can do this:
www.food.com/bread

do you see how there is no .html at the end? i've seen sites that do this. i'm not sure how you can code it or name the file so it can look like that and still work. thanks for any ideas.

It's possible by the mod_rewrite module of apache. Have a look into http://www.google.com/search?q=mod_rewrite+hide+extension
