Hello,

I am currently interning in China and they have me working on their website. I was asked to make a form where people can register their companies. The problem I am having is that, who ever is inputting the information has to be able to input simplified chinese characters.
I have the statement:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>

on my <head>

When i hit submit, outlook pops up, and the chinse characters that were input show up as random symbols.

So i was wondering if anyone could help me with making the actual chinese characters show up. And i was also wondering how to make the information get sent to an email without outlook popping up.

Thanks

Hey

Thanks for your help.
The thing is that my website is still only in html format. I have not yet uploaded it to a server. Do you think thats why it is showing up as random symbols?
