Is there way to test repeating backgrounds?

Hi all,

what would be the best way to slice this image and is there a way to test repeat-y images?

I am designing this site and don't know if it will be an issue to code this. I think I will need lots of repeating backgrounds, and was wondering if it will be look nice because there are so many torn edges.

What would be the best way to code this?

Is there any kind of patter on the torn edges? You could slice it so its seemless meaning slice it so if it repeats it joins up again to look like one image.
