Hello waps2,
Interesting approach. I've never tried putting multiple items in single li.
Comment out this bit in red and see how it works for you -

#content ul#promoboxes li{
list-style: none;
display: inline-block;
/*display: -moz-inline-box;*/
font-size: 11px;
font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
margin: 0px 3px 0px 0px;
padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;
background-image: url(images/promboxbk.gif);
height: 200px;
width: 215px;
zoom:1;
*display:inline;
}

If that breaks things in earlier FF versions that don't support inline-block you could always just put those in divs instead using a list.

You don't tweak for Firefox. You get it working there first and tweak for IE. IE is the worst browser on the planet.

The problem here, as always, is with IE. You will never get IE to attempt to perform like other far more modern browsers without a doctype. Put this on your first line and see where we stand.
