I currently have all of my links on www.americanpolitics101.com on the site, but they are very close together. They are as far out as Dream Weaver will let me do with the designer and I have tried editing the code but it is not working. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could try changing:

.None a {
font-size: large;
}

To:

.None a {
font-size: large;
padding:0 20px;
}

Hope that helps/works :)

Or use HTML - Special characters for 1 space. use as many as you need.

In any case this is an html/css issue, not a php one.
Moving from php to html/css.

BIOSTALL's .None a {font-size: large;padding:0 20px;} makes the link itself bigger by 20px on each side. You could add some margin to that to spread the links apart too.
Like this -
.None a {
font-size: large;
padding:0 20px;
margin: 0 20px;
}

Even a WordPress layout should avoid adding unnecessary markup (  ).
