Hello

I have this site here:

http://proofreading4students.com/index.asp

I am trying to position the counter (near the copyright statement at the bottom) using this:

<DIV style="position:absolute; top:880px; left:400px; width:30px;border-width:thin; border-style:solid;border-color:navy; padding-left:10px; padding-right:10px"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; font-weight: normal; color: #333399;"><%=iCounterNumber%></span>
</DIV>

Moving the little counter box around the page is easy enough, but how can I nestle the box so that I have this kind of effect:

Copyright 2010 | BOX here | Created by mySite.com | All Rights Reserved

The code whioch produces the copyright statement is this:

<div id="footer">Copyright 2010 | Created by mySite.com | All Rights Reserved</div></div>

Thanks for any advice.

Steve

I guess you should simply insert that span there.

<div id="footer">Copyright 2010 | <span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; font-weight: normal; color: #333399;"><%=iCounterNumber%></span> | Created by mySite.com | All Rights Reserved</div>

Anyway, you don't need the position:absolute. Why do you need that?

Hello Kor

Many thanks for that.

I couldn't get it to position earlier. I think it actually looks better the way you have it - without the box.

(Sorry about your team yesterday - I was supporting you! Never mind).

Cheers
