can anyone help? i set up a website a year or so ago for a friend

the link is www.visionarysdesignantiques.com

something has gone wrong since the hosting was renewed.

the main page should have a background image so that the white text shows up. you will see if you highlight over the text that its there but the white background is hiding it.

also the container element should be positioned in the centre of the browser, now its all to the left.

if anyone can help its much appreciated as i have forgotten a lot of html/css since i did this website as i havent done any since. thanks

someone added

<style=type"text/css">
</style>

to style.css

or someone took css that was on the page and added it to a ".css" file, but forgot to remove the <style> tags.

those tags inside a ".css" break the browser ~ it can't parse them as it isn't expecting to see those tags there. similarly, if you paste a .css file directly in to a .html file with no tags, the browser won't know what to do with it.
