Hello,
I was wondering if it's possible to link the image itself that I redirect from hotlink protection with .htaccess?

All I was able to do so far is redirect the folder where my images is being hotlink to a custom image url but if I want to put a link on it. Is this anyway possible? Thanks alot for help.

Images don't contain links. They can be contained within a link, or have an image map associated with them. However all of that is done on the page that calls the image.

In hotlink protection all you can do is serve up a different (probably smaller) image instead of the image linked to.

However you can include a message on the image - something like the following perhaps:

Hot linking images is not permitted.

Any decent graphics editing software should allow you to place text onto an image.

Once you have an image with the text you want, upload it to your server.
