Hello. Here's a site I'm working on. I need some suggestions though on the design and what not.

Thanks for your time! (:

On first sight it looks nice. A few suggestions, though:

The header is a little large for nothing in it except the logo. You may wanna put the site name in there and/or make the logo much smaller (like half the size).
The text is way too small. And generally: Donít use Comic Sans (http://www.google.com/search?q=don%27t+use+comic+sans) as main font! Ever.
Donít use ďclick hereĒ as link text (http://www.google.com/search?q=don%27t+use+click+here+as+link+text). Use some more meaningful text.
You didnít specify a link color. I see the links green because Iíve set a different link color in my browser settings than usual. Always specify link, text, and background colors. You canít assume that the default settings you see are present in every browser.

Over, I think it looks nice.

In my opinion, I would like it better if the red animal icons at the bottom matched the pattern of the icons in the header at the top. :)

The font should also be bigger like VIPStephan said.

Text is too small and that image takes up more than half the home page

Site takes too long to load the images and the header seems dull you need to add some flare. Your nav bar is confusing, you need text next to the images. The footer needs to be worked on same issue as the nav bar.

For all of the leaves. Instead of opening into a new page, how about it load in the area where the main picture is at? It'd look super good that way.

Calendar is fine.

Water testing is fine.

Sponsors and partners has a large amount of empty space, can you fill it up with anything? It'd help even it out.

Envirothon team is fine.

One other thing, the logo banner, huge amount of empty area just blue. It makes your website lack content. Two suggestions I have is, either show the next two upcoming events and stuff on there, or put a flash banner either showing pictures of events that happened, or put information about your website like a graphic of a water drop and tell about water facts.

design is very good
font-size is too small to read.
Better to write your heading and some tagline in the top banner.
