View Full Version : Resolved White line in-between background img repeats

Mar 8th, 2010, 08:46 PM
I have been trying to solve my problem for over six hours on my own and neither Google or my books have helped. The problem can be seen live at this page:

The CSS and XHTML validate on all pages, so it isn't a coding "error" per say. The white line at regular intervals inserts itself in-between each repeat of the background image, on all pages with enough content to have it repeat, and it makes no sense... if there was a space, wouldn't it take the assigned color of the background, in my case, #100906...

There is no border, padding or margin set on the body {} element, so I don't understand what the heck is going on.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Someone kill me RIGHT NOW.

The first time I checked the img I hadn't zoomed in enough, and considering I've been designing in PS for 13 years, I believed in my skills so much I never thought I could be dumb enough to make that sort of amateur mistake.

Then after 3 hours of looking at my CSS (in which I am less confident) I decided this was nuts and it had to be the image... I zoomed in and found in. Cropped it out, but I uploaded the wrong one from an older backup of the site folder, without noticing. So I had began to wonder I was going crazy.

I feel like a moron now, but thanks for pointing it out.
