I have a few png's on my website that are rollovers.

they're odd shapes, that have transparent parts.

Is there a way to prevent the rollover from acting when you put the cursor over these transparent parts?

i.e., only switch to the other image, when the mouse cursor goes over the visible graphic part?

danke!

i.e., only switch to the other image, when the mouse cursor goes over the visible graphic part? AFAIK, IE6 is the only browser which acts like the way you want, when used with alpha filters. :)

you can use the html <map> tag and define the clickable area of your image(s)

IE6 rendering of transparent areas of png images doesn't behave as it should - it's one of the many IE bugs :)
