View Full Version : Resolved Image positioning trouble in ie

Hi all,

Im trying to position an image in the center of a background that Iv created, this view ok in ff but in ie7 the image doesnt center properly?

Anyone have any advice?

This has been set to resolved, has it actually been resovled? And if so, could you post the fix so that other users of this forum might benefit?


Okay it looks like this hasn't been resolved.
On your image tag you would need to add:


display:block;
margin: 0 auto;

But as you are doing it a strange way with an empty anchor you need to make the CSS on that anchor something like:


.folio_bg {
background:transparent url(images/folio_bg_high.jpg) no-repeat center top;
height:179px;
padding:5px;
}
.folio_bg a.test {
display:block;
width: 280px;
height: 160px;
margin: 0 auto;
}

}
