View Full Version : Extra white space at the bottom of the page

Jan 25th, 2010, 08:56 AM
Hi Experts,

Please go to this website (http://www.gcis.com.cy/redirect.php), you will notice that at the bottom of each page, there is a white space, increasing the page height. Why the white space is there? I checked everything but couldn't find the root cause of this problem.

Please someone help me understanding the problem & give a solution too.

Thanks in advance & waiting for quick responses...

Your "anylink-menu" javascript code adds the following code to the bottom of your body tag, which is causing that gap.
<div style="visibility: hidden; left: 0pt; top: 0pt;" class="anylinkmenu"><ul>
<li><a href="professional-web-development.php" target="">Professional Web Development</a></li>
<li><a href="business-web-solutions.php" target="">Business Web Solutions</a></li>
<li><a href="internet-marketing-strategy.php" target="">Internet Marketing Strategy</a></li>
<li><a href="web-analytics.php" target="">Web Analytics</a></li>

</ul></div><div style="width: 220px; height: 124px; opacity: 0.3; visibility: hidden; left: 0pt; top: 0pt;" class="anylinkshadow"></div> You may avoid it by replacing visibility with display property.

As always, you helped me :)

I couldn't found the markup you mentioned, but I found the style class "anylinkshadow". I changed its display to NONE & my problem is solved now :)

Thank you.
