Hi all,

I have created a page were there is a main screenshot image with another image of a laptop with a js slide show placed at the bottom right. I am really unsure how to achieve this placement properly and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to correctly do it?

The page is here http://glen-lodge.co.uk/testing/macSlider/slider.html

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kyle

The only way I can think of is to place it in an absolute positioned div and call on the z-index property to place it on top.

Hello kyllle,
It looks like you're already positioning it... not sure where you want it but it's relative to it's container so it won't move around with a resolution change.

The only thing I'd point out is the z-index. It's probably not even needed in the first place but a z-index value of 12000 doesn't do any more for you in this case than z-index:2; would do. It's all about the stack order and the only thing z-indexed ahead of #slider is .screenshot.
Have a look at z-index stack order (http://www.w3schools.com/Css/pr_pos_z-index.asp).
