View Full Version : Position Header Gif

First off, here is my site:

Im trying to move the black header gif image so it sits about 15px to the left, so its left side lines up with the grey boundary. Ive tried negative padding, but it doesnt seem to do anything. What is the correct way to do this?

The header gif image is in the header css wrap, here is its css:

#header {

padding: 35px 0px 0px;
position: relative;

Hello spadez,
That image is moved to the right by three things -

the 15px left padding on #white-rap
the 35px left padding placed on #header
the 10px left padding on #header h1

It might be easiest to move that over by removing the left padding on the h1...
add this bit in red -

/* Header */

#header h1 {
margin: 0;
padding: 0 10px 0 0;

Remove the left padding from your h1.

Thank you very much, I did as you instructed but I was still left with 15px gap so I removed the white space rap padding and that did the trick!
