View Full Version : Table to CSS help

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys could help me convert this to css:

<table cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0'>
<td><img src='images/p_l.png'></td>
<td background='images/p_m.png' height='28'><center><font color='#C855AA'><b>Romance</b></font></center></td>
<td><img src='images/p_e.png'></td>

What is does is has an image-repeat-image, it creates a label around the text in the middle.

The reason i want this in css is because whenevere i use this on the site, the table forces a new line and I'd rather the table be on the same line.

IGN: label thing

Any help or directions/tutorials? Thanks in advance!

Could you please post a link to your page(at least a sample)? It's hard to grasp the expected output from the above code only. Are you using it inside a form?

that's how it works with html. But when I place the table say next to some text like

IGN: Table

it does this

Are you trying to make a button after all?

Nope not a button lol. It's to display the users username in a nice fancy label. And the html table does that, only it won't position itself right as it forces to be put on a new line.
