I'm racking my brain against a wall and need some more inspiration. In the meantime, can you let me know what your opinions of the templates at the following.

I'm trying to convince them to redesign their site. I'm trying to go for a "clean professional" look and really like the last 2 desgins, but would like some feedback from all of you.

Thanks (no this is not an obligatory tia) in advance (ok, yes it is :) )

Well i like the 8th template.
The others aren't so cool.

I like number 5 and number 8.
the current one is okay, but your markup is better and that one uses frames and tables lol

Thanks, I'm going to use XHTML for coding any redesign and run it through all the validators (CSS and XHTML). One big thing I pushing for is compliance and accessibility and download times, all of which I think these templates improve on.

6)...hmmms...ifin' the faded yellow was just a bit® more 'heavy' n' ya put sommme sort of 'edging' on the biggg pic...orrr is thattt just a coming® later aka...this is only just a layout®???

#8 is nice, something a little less common that most sites. Problem could be that not much text is imediately visible (without scrolling), just the links and the cover story...

#7 is still one of the more original layouts of the set and is more practical for an acutal article or page of information...

Using something like #8 for your homepage and #7 for your content pages could be an effective site concept perhaps??? :) Let us know how you go.

I prefer # 5 and # 10 (# 10 especially).

Having just a feather in the left-hand part of the page seems rather bland (in my opinion).

I think that having a pheasant represented on the page seems to be the way to go.

DOH !!!

Yes, it was # 8 - Saw the April 10 date and the number 10 stuck in my brain-pan.

I prefer # 5 and # 10 (# 10 especially).umm... i dont see a number 10... p'raps i am missing something... :D

umm... well, number 8 is actaully the only one i would go with... although maybe you should shrink down the logo and the field to free up some space... and then move the menu underneath the logo??? methinks that would look nice :)

i dont like the "original design concept"... just my personal opinion, though... ;)

methinks the feather ones waste a little too much space... so #8 gets my vote... :)

nice work

Check out your designs in all the different browsers ...

I didn't take a screen capture on every browsers, but hopefully this will will help you see your website as others see it (in AOL, on Macintosh, on Linux, in a REALLY old browser, etc.)

Good luck.

Thanks John, I was looking for that link. I was actually planning on using that service once a final design is selected.

Thanks everybody for the feed back. Anyone have some suggestions on cleaning up the current site? Or suggestions on improving some of the templates? I'll keep working on some more deisngs for the time being. Thanks again.

I like numbers 7 and 8. Number 8 would be strongest if you could find a way to pull in the logo a bit better.
