View Full Version : Header going mad!

I'm trying to code a header with links going in a line across the top of the page.

It looks ok but when I minimise the page the background (which should be a dark grey line, formed using a 1px width grey image on x-repeat) cuts off and does not go to the full width of the page if you scroll to the right - any ideas?

CSS file:
div.banner_container { background-image:url(../images/banner_bg.jpg); background-repeat: repeat-x; height: 36px; position: relative; color: #fff; }
div.banner { float: left; width: 200px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; }
div.banner_navigation { float: left; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; position: absolute; top: 0px; width: 1219px;}
ul.ul_links { margin: 0px 0px 0px 140px; }
ul.ul_links li { float: left; padding: 10px 3px 0px 15px; list-style-type: none; background-image:url(../images/arrow.gif); background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-left:12px; padding-right:17px; font-weight: bold; font-size:12px; position: relative;}

any ideas? It's impossible to replicate the issue at our end using the above code. Could you please post a link to your page?
