Hi everyone. Got a strange problem here.

h8 {
font:normal 1.6em "Lucida Grande", sans-serif;
margin:10px 0 0;

<div class="homebox2">
<div class="homebox-left"><h1><span>Why get a quote from Click Conveyancing?</span></h1>
<br /><h8><img src="images/arrow3.png" width="34" height="24" alt="Blue Arrow" align="texttop"/>For over 20 years we have been providing specialist conveyancing services.</h8>
<br />
<h8><img src="images/arrow3.png" width="34" height="24" alt="Blue Arrow" align="texttop" />Last year our team processed over &pound;6 Billion of conveyancing transactions.</h8>
<br />
<h8><img src="images/arrow3.png" width="34" height="24" alt="Blue Arrow" align="texttop"/>Conveyancing is our core business; It is what we do.</h8>
<div class="getquote"><img src="images/getquote2.png" width="139" height="26" alt="Quote Logo" /></div>
<div class="homebox-right"></div>

The above works fine in Firefox, and displays all fonts/colours/images etc in the right place, but strangely, IE displays the 3 bulletpoints without any styling (colour, indent, "texttop")

Anyone any idea why this is the case?

thanks in advance.

think ive just sussed it out - using my own <h> tags is obviously a no-no in a strict doctype :(

Making up your own tags is a no-no in any html doctype.
