Hey everyone, having some issues with my CSS in Internet Explorer.. Been reading up on this for almost a day and half now and have not gotten anywhere.

I have a div setup in my code that I left by accident but it actually makes it render correctly in Firefox, and incorrect in IE, when I remove it IE looks somewhat better and it throws me off in Firefox.. I'm not sure exactly how to approach fixing this.

(I tried IE hacks that they had posted over on another large forums but that did not work (wondering possibly because this is an application on facebook?)

This is the code I would like to remove

echo '<div class=statnavi1>';
echo '<ul>';
echo '</ul>';
echo '</div>';

here it is with the rest of the code that's causing me problems.

echo '<div class=statnavi1>';
echo '<ul>';
echo '</ul>';
echo '</div>';
echo '<a name="top1" id="top1"></a>';
echo '<div id="stats_bar" class=statusBar>';
echo '<ul>';
echo '<li><a href="bank.php"><img border="0" src="/images/icons/cash.gif" width="16" height="16" alt="Cash"></a> <font color=#67B90F>$'.number_format($pirate->cash,0).'</font></li>';
if( $pirate->health < $pirate->maxhealth ){
echo '<li><a href="http://apps.facebook.com/the_fbi/hospital.php"><b><font color=#D2E1F9>Heal</font></b></a>: <font color=#FFFF00>'.$pirate->health.'/'.$pirate->maxhealth.'</font></li>';
}
else {
echo '<li><img border="0" src="/images/icons/healthicon.png" width="16" height="16" alt="Health"> <font color=#FFFF00>'.$pirate->health.'/'.$pirate->maxhealth.'</font></li>';
}
echo '<li><img border="0" src="/images/icons/energyicon.png" width="16" height="16" alt="Energy"> <font color=#FFFF00>'.$pirate->energy.'/'.$pirate->maxenergy.'</font></li>';
echo '<li><img border="0" src="/images/icons/strengthicon.png" width="16" height="16" alt="Stamina"> <font color=#FFFF00>'.$pirate->strength.'/'.$pirate->maxstrength.'</font></li>';
echo '<li>Level: '.number_format($pirate->level,0).'</li>';
echo '<li>Experience: ';
echo '<font color=#FFFF00>';
echo $pirate->exp;
echo '/';
$maxenerg = $pirate->maxenergy;
$maxetre = $pirate->maxstrength;
$formula = ($maxenerg+$maxetre)* 2.35;
echo $pirate->nextlevele;
echo '</font>';
echo '</li>';
echo '</ul>';
echo '</div>';
echo '</div>';

Here is my CSS for statnavi1

/************************************************/
/* Stat Navi */
/************************************************/

}

.statnavi1 li a {
color: #ffda0f;
}

.statnavi1 li a:hover {
color: #ffda0f;
text-decoration: underline;
}

and statusBar

/************************************************/
/* Status Bar */
/************************************************/

.statusBar {

width: 757px;
color: #000000;
