Hello jihanemo,
I can't help you with the tables but it's easy without them. Try this:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta name="keywords" content=" ">
<meta name="description" content=" ">
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;
charset=iso-8859-1">
<title>AmericanChic.net - Designer Inspired Handbags and Celebrity Style Accessories</title>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
#sidebar {
border-top-style: solid;
border-top-width: 1px;
border-right-style: solid;
border-right-width: 1px;
border-color: #999999;
width: 300px;
height: 200px;
float: left;
}
#content {
border-top-style: solid;
border-top-width: 1px;
border-color: #999999;
width: 300px;
height: 200px;
margin: 0 0 0 300px;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div id="sidebar">

</div>
<div id="content">

</div>
</body>
</html>

Thank you! What does border-collapse do, exactly?
