how do i stop word from showing the tabs like ��������

is there another way to save in word that alows these tabs to show correctly?

i open the word document, standard word doc.

then save as, file type one down from the already selected type, being the

Web Page (*.htm; *.html)


in case it maybe a web page type problem here is the start of my webpage...

just looking at the html file itself it seems to be only yhe multiple spaces and the ' marks that show up as the �

Try to put this instead of your code provided:


<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=iso-utf-8" />
</head>

Note the meta tag inside the <head> element.
If that doesn't solve your problem, post a link to the site in question or throw us the code.
