Hi, I'm trying to implement a photo gallery for a website but am a beginner with HTML. I went through a lot of threads but none of them really gave detailed instructions on how to set something up. They were all vague and really hard to follow.

Can anyone guide me on how to set one up for an HTML website? Ideally, I would like something that has a main image and then perhaps a few thumbnails underneath that the user can scroll left/right through and once they click, changes the main image.

Anyone have an suggestions or ideas on where I can find a good tutorial on how to implement a photo gallery? I need something that will basically "hold my hand" and guide me step by step.

I unfortunately don't want a gallery that "pops" out. I want it embedded into the website page.

Also, the second link isnt really the style I was looking to achieve.

Thanks again though. Any other suggestions?

Hi,

I appreciate this thread is a bit old, however its worth a shot. I have downloaded the "Very basic javascript approach" script for my gallery section on my site and it is working a treat. I just want to remove the pesky black default numbers from each of the thumbnails.

I have tried everything my knowledge can muster without success (I admit thats not going to be an awful lot :rolleyes:)

Any help greatly appreicated!

ps. Hello forum :thumbsup:

In the html change the ordered list to an unordered list, i.e. change ol to ul.
The add the following to your css

ul{list-style: none;}
