I started out with the problem of not being able to get my footer to stick to the bottom of my short pages. Someone was able to help me resolve that problem but in doing so it seems to have created a problem for the pages I have lots of content on.

here is a example page.

http://robinsden.co.cc/hobbies/jokes/the_fence.php

As you will clearly see my new problem is my footer will not go to the bottom of all the text on the page.

Please help if you can.

you want the footer to stick to the bottom of the browser or do you want it to just sit at the bottom of the page?

This will make your footer bar stik to the browser.

.footer {
bottom:0;
left:0;
margin:0;
position:fixed;
width:100%;
}

It worked to change the CSS by taking out the position:absolute;
but now on my short pages like:
http://robinsden.co.cc/home/contact.php

the footer dose not end up at the bottom of the page. What do I do?

set height on your container to 100%
