I'm burning the midnight oil, finishing up a design presentation for Expression Digital I'm doing in Emeryville to help out some young developers, as a request... and as I was adding my further reading and resource areas, I realized all these years I reference you guys, but I don't think I ever said thank you.

6 years ago web design was a mix of Dreamweaver and IE 5 on the mac; although by then I was an accomplished print designer, web design was a big weakness in my arsenal. It took years of embedding myself into every book I can find, and hitting this site up for both newbie and advanced questions as I learned this new media. It was all worth it.

I'm sitting here in my downtown San Francisco Apartment with my girlfriend; tomorrow I get up to my job as the Art & IT Director for [links removed so someone doesn't think I'm trying to promote my businesses again]. All of those I oversee the Advertising, Marketing, Print Design, Print Production, Web Design, Web Development, Software Development, Network Management, Server Management and every little nook in between.

I wouldn't have had this job, or learned so many new arts, had I not found so many great people on this website to put me in my place from time to time, or take a few minutes to show me better ways or new practices on how to improve my craft.

Thank you to all the great teachers and developers who helped me out on this site. Thank you George for your guidance, and for the great place to learn! I'll make sure when I'm talking to the next generation, where to go for answers.

Now, that’s a slick way to put some links on the web and promote one’s company…

We're in Real Estate for Commercial Businesses, and even the other sites get enough traffic that codingforums isn't my target market. No need to promote anything, I just wanted to show to other users that Coding Forums really did give me real world skills. I shoulda' done the before and after, this was my first site before codingforums:

Regardless though, I'll remove those links now.

You're welcome Brad, though much of the thanks needs to go to the helpful members and mods that help out selflessly everyday. They are what define CF!
