I'm trying to get the body of text on my site to be white but for some reason the lower half is a shade of light blue. I've tried every way I can think of, but still the lower half of the page remains the ligbt blue. It is probably something realtively simple, but can't think of it. Also, the logo I have for my site is not working, even though it worked before.

Itried posting the coding of my page, but it was far too long (about 25,000 characters too long). So, the page is http://www.lgbtsource.com/sandbox1.html.

Thanks for any help,
James

I don't know which divs were causing it, but the fw-container, was the div that wasnt expanding all the way down.

When you put a floating div inside of another div, the parent div won't automatically stretch down

so i added the property overflow:auto to the fw-container

here is a link to see it in action

hope this was helpful

I did what you said and the blue that was on the lower part of the page is gone. Thanks. The logo for my site is still not showing up for whatever reason.

This is the image that is supposed to be there:

http://www.lgbtsource.com/thefreelogomakersfreeloaki.png

However, the image at the top of the page (http://lgbtsource.com/sandbox1.html) is not the same image. Instead it is a two-tone blue image that came with the template. My image was working before, but it is not working now.

This is the code for where the image is located:

<style type="text/css" media="screen">
#fw-head {background:transparent url(http://www.lgbtsource.com/thefreelogomakersfreeloaki.png) no-repeat scroll left top;}
</style>

Where am I messing up?

Thanks for any help,
James

Try changing #fw-head to .fw-logo or #logo-div.

I tried doing that and nothing happened. I'm totally confused as to why it is not working. One day it worked and the next it didn't.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks,
James

In your HTML you have this

<style>

.mainExpand {
cursor:hand;
cursor:pointer;
font: bold .9em verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;

</stlye>

Mispelling on style and you forgot a }. Fix that and see if it works. Running your page through a validator will help avoid simple mistakes like this. You have a lot more errors in your code.

There we go. I'm so great at making such simple mistakes. The slight dyslexia I have doesn't help either.

Thanks,
