I am in the process of recoding my website from HTMl Tables to css. Thus far, i have done a decent job, i believe lol. My index page has been completed and looks to be showing correctly from what i have seen.

Now, i am working on the subpage and for some reason, my background isn't repeating in firefox, like it is in IE. Also, if there is anyone who would run over my code to see how well it is and if it will work, for now.

here is the url to my partially completed subpage in CSS, and i do realize the footer is not centered with the site.. lol..

thanks in advance,
Patrick

my background isn't repeating in firefox, like it is in IE.

Perhaps you could show us the background then? The odd bit of CSS maybe?

Thank you for your reply, below is the css code used, and i also attached a screen cap of the background issue in firefox. On the left hand side, the BG stops repeating. In IE, it continues to repeat, leaving firefox with the issue.

#newscontainer { BACKGROUND: url(http://www.pwheadlines.com/images/d2/sublaybg.jpg) repeat-y; MARGIN: 0px auto; WIDTH: 900px; height: 100%; align: Center;}

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, i'm still a noob with CSS but i think i'm doing a fairly decent job with it thus far.

Validate your html and css for those lists of 70 html errors and 16 css errors.

Thank you all for responding. i cleaned up the html, and the page is now XHTML valid. the background continues to repeat in IE, like it should, but firefox still makes the right side stop. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated again.
