Hi all!

On the IE7, it looks fine, but Firefox makes the images and text pushed down.

There are 4 yellow shape background images within the body of the page. Each yellow background image got 1 thumbnail on the LEFT side and it centered on the sticking out tab. The 1st yellow with thumbnail looks good in IE7 but if you look at the same page on Firefox, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th thumbnail are pushed down a little. All 4 should align centered on the LEFT tab.

Here is the linke:

Here is the external CSS file:

#houses1_text {

text-align:left;
font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
color: #FFFFFF;
font-weight: normal;
left:280px;
top: 299px;
width: 400px;
position:absolute;

}

#houses2_text {

text-align:left;
font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
color: #FFFFFF;
font-weight: normal;
left:280px;
top: 560px;
width: 400px;
position:absolute;

}

#houses3_text {

text-align:left;
font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
color: #FFFFFF;
font-weight: normal;
left:280px;
top: 825px;
width: 400px;
position:absolute;

}

#houses4_text {

text-align:left;
font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
color: #FFFFFF;
font-weight: normal;
left:280px;
top: 1089px;
width: 400px;
position:absolute;

}

#image_home1 {

left:115px;
top: 298px;
position:absolute;

}

#image_home2 {

left:115px;
top: 560px;
position:absolute;

}

#image_home3 {

left:115px;
top: 822px;
position:absolute;

}

#image_home4 {

left:115px;
top: 1087px;
position:absolute;

}

Thanks for any help!!

Never, ever use IE as a reference for how things work. It is 11 years behind all other more modern browsers in current standards and practices. Always, always check your markup in anything but IE and ask why IE is screwing it up. The hacks to fix IE are well known, as are its bugs and quirks.

You have 85 HTML errors (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lydiahomes.com%2Flistings.html) and 8 CSS errors (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css21&warning=0&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lydiahomes.com%2Flistings.html). IE may be showing what you want but Firefox will show what you wrote.
