Hey guys, just wondering if you could take a look at my site I'm building and give any comments. Thanks a lot!

I hate the flash. Hate it. The same exact thing can be accomplished using jQuery and a slideshow plugin. But I would probably hate that too, unless it ran once and then stopped.

Did you want to know about the broken links or are you aware of them already?

I know about the broken links to the staff page, is there any others? What are your thoughts on layout/colors? I found my page doesn't validate, there are a lot of errors, I'm gunna take some time and go through those.

I don't like the flash either, it's too large and distracting.

I quite like the general colour scheme.

The font size is a bit inconsistent - on the home page it's 11px which is very small, and on other pages it seems to be 13px.

Personal thing maybe, but I'd have the navbar stretching across the width of #wrapper so the page is a consistent width. At the moment it sort of makes the right hand of #body look like it's sticking out, if that makes sense.

Service times - at the top right - appears to me as Times New Roman, but everything else is Tahoma - looks a bit odd. Looking at your css, this is supposed to be Futura Md BT - which I guess is not a common font. Maybe want to make this Tahoma if Futura isn't found.

Hope this is useful.

The flash is fine, thats developers talking. Fact is you need things like that on a home page (ONLY a home page) in order to make the average dumb *** client think your website is impressive.

However your default text is too small, make it large to about 12/14px and up the lineheight so it doesn't seem effort to read.

Images for banners are bad, bad, bad. Its not accessible, and its not SEO friendly, have the blue background as an image, and then place the text above it as a H1, you currently have the same H1 tag on every page. bad bad bad! :)

You don't have meta tags anywhere as far as I can see which makes it hard for SE's to find out if the content you have is the same as the content you say you have.

Other than validation issues, and some other mistermeaners you've done ok, keep up the good work, and get those validation errors gone!

hope that helps!

Flash on any website is generally lousy and distracting and serves no purpose. At the very least you should limit the animation to cycle one time through and then put a static image there that no longer causes seizures to the visitors. Of course it is just my opinion but that's what we've been asked to give ;)

Thanks guys I'll play around with it and see if I can make the flash less distracting.

I've been meaning to change the font to a sharper-looking font, I'll give that more thought too.

I've gotten the validating issues down to 2 now, hopefully that'll help some.

Thanks for the input!
