Dial up takes forever if at all. DSL is fine. I have a lot of time designing it but it needs to be faster.

Already removed a couple of Swf's on the index page. Dont want to lose any more or degrade the graphics. In fact some of it isnt finished yet.

Here are the results from a page size test. You can see that half of the page is images, and half is swfs. Ironically the biggest image is mostly text, which could be easy changed.

I'm afraid that reduction of whats currently there is not what I would recommend, I would recommend considering a design that makes more spacial sense and is more light weight. The whole design hinges on improperly exported images, improper use of images, bloated SWFs, and use of techniques which are outdated. I'm not trying to offend you, but I don't believe it will serve your website to just reduce the weight of the page (which would pull apart a lot of its foundation).

I like my design but I struggled with the code all the way. I take no stock in the structure so I am not offended at all. I simply did my best to put it together. I spent last night actually redoing the index page with a different software that seems to have a different format and it made a so-so improvement.

It all may be outdated but that is the extent of my html skill. Is there anything you would be willing to do with it, keeping the design intact? I have no idea what an overhaul like this would cost.

Loaded in 2.500 seconds for me.

I'm moving this to General Web Building, since it doesn't seem to be a paid request.

Dial up takes forever if at all. DSL is fine. I have a lot of time designing it but it needs to be faster.

- decrease the size of the images files as much as you can:
2.png, img0010.png, Rotate.gif, img0011.png, img0003.png, gear.gif are over 50k
- too many requests because of too many files, try to decrease the number by combining them.
img0008.png, img0005.png, img0006.png, img0004.png, img0009.png, img0001.png and img0007.png can be combined in a single file and you can use a offset to display only one of them at a time..
- murkup is valid, take care to keep it so, invalid pages are slower.

depend on what you want to achive but the loading time is not bad as is now.

I forget, :) to get info about your page you can use this:

best regards

Where applicable, have PNG-8s instead of PNG-32s. You can also save a few bytes by saving as a PNG-24 if you're not using opacity.
