View Full Version : Interface design

I'm coding a site & I think I have the basic idea down for the backend, but the ideas I have for the interface keep tripping me up. Cross browser problems with alignment & the like. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to handle this? I've considered browsing some of the various websites out there for page templates since they seem pretty cheap, but it seems like that'll end up being generic & not too flexible. Thoughts?

Thanks for your time. -- John

I would use seperate .css files for different browsers.

So for Internet Explorer use:

<!--[if IE]>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="whatever.css" type="text/css">

and just have the main .css for firefox.

that's how i've done it :)
