Alright, so here's my situation:

I'm trying to make the main part of my website look like the forums part, just to make it look a bit more 'professional', and something's up with the divs that I can't find. Could somebody please take a look at my stylesheets and such on http://runecosmic.throstware.com/ and help me figure out why the lastPostsDiv div is not taking up the width I assigned it on that page's stylesheet?

Thanks,
NeoMoon

Because it is a span, not a div. A span by default is display:inline; and a width can't be applied to it. The dirty and quick thing to do but not the best way would be to make it display:block; but if that were the case then just change it to a div.

Hmm, learn new things every day. Thanks!

I had to add the "display: block;" property to the span -- the div was not shown for whatever reason.
