hello there..

i hope someone can help, i am not a coder but use dreamweaver to make simple html things so i am learning!!!

i need to make a html email which has rollover images..

in the past i have used 'safari' ( am on mac ) to ' email contents of page' after i have made the page and put it up on my server.

i have just done this at the following link..

http://www.cotswoldsculture.com/testemail/cultemail.html

i want to get rollover images in the email, but when i go to the 'email contents...' link and it appears in mac 'mail' all the rollover interacitivty disappears..

does anyone have any ideas why this happens?

i know i am probably doing this in a weird way, but its the only way i know!!!

any other ideas would be welcome, bear in mind i am a bit of a novice though...

thanks in advance...

cheers

Stephen

Short answer is that there is no guarantee it is ever going to work no matter what you do, since different email clients handle the execution of javascript differently. Implementing the rollover via CSS brings no joy either, because all CSS that is not inline may very well be just cut out, and you can't do a :hover inline.
