I have looked for days trying to figure out this problem.

This i the link to the site - http://www.coolkennogaa.com/

The dropdown works brilliantly in both Firefox and Safari but fails in IE7, and IE6 dont know.

Has anybody any idea why? Im thinking maybe the javascript as I am not very strong in this sector.

Thanks for reading.

It's dropping down alright, but very far to the right.

Try

#top_navlist ul li {
/*display: inline;*/
float:left;
position:relative;
height:1%;
}
#top_navlist ul li a {
..............
float: left;
height:1%;
}
/*suckerfish menu starts here*/
#navlist li ul { /* second-level lists */
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
position: absolute;
border: 5px #CECECE solid;
list-style: none;
/*margin-top: 42px;
margin-left: 373px;*/
z-index:100;
left: -999em; /*using left instead of display to hide menus because display: none isn't read by screen readers */
top:3em;
width:10em;
}
#navlist li:hover ul, #navlist li.sfhover ul { /* lists nested under hovered list items */
left: 0;
}

abduraooft Thank you so much,

That worked an absolute dream. You must be some kind of code ninja cause there are some things in there and I dont know what they really mean especially the z-index, still trying to get my head round that one.

But thanks again, and venegal, thank you too.

Many thanks,

Jim
