ok I looked around the forum and google for an answer... How can I anchor the paypal image to the bottom of the left column without having to attach it to the footer?

You can always create another divider in your style sheet.

.paypal_button {
width: auto;
height: auto;
margin-bottom: 0px;

<div class="paypal_button">

You can also try adding vspace, it will not stick it to the bottom, but it will move it down a bit.

<img scr="path/to/image.extension" vspace="10" />

I hope this will help you a bit.

yeah I thought of that to.. but as you can see, it then moves the page down and you can see a huge white gap because the image is pushed below the right column, I want it to be attached to the bottom but also stay flush with the other column

Your putting a div around an image again.

Try this -

#paypal {
margin: 80px 0 0 0;

<div class="newsborder">-------------------------------------------------------------------</div>
<div class="newscontent"><p>We have officially opened our doors and welcome you with open arms! Please take a look around the website and most of all enjoy yourself and have a wonderful day!</p>

<img src="images/paypal.jpg" width="128" height="121" alt="" id="paypal">
<!--end contentleft--></div>

<div id="contentright">

What you need to do, it create an image size divider, and place it inside the content or column divider, and than you can play with divider settings to make it appear wherever you want it to be.

Besides that I spotted something else, that might be an issue later. Links on your web site does not work, and its because instead of going from /help to /portfolio it goes to help/portfolio.html. To fix that (if you using relative links) put ../ in front of the link! That tell browser to go back one folder and search for the page from there.

<a href="../portfolio">Portfolio</a>
