View Full Version : Fixed Image Background

Hello, I am currently making a layout for a new website I am designing (a small fanbased website for studio ghibli) but I had a question about something. I'm actually not to sure how to word this but is it possible to create a ... fixed image background (preferably at the bottom left corner) instead of a repeated pattern, like the layout currently has?

Here is the url: http://sb.karenai.net

Thank you!

Yes, simple. All you have to do is style the background bottom left.

Something like this:

body {
background:url(/images/bg.jpg) no-repeat bottom left;

background-image:url(/images/bg.jpg) no-repeat bottom left; The shorthand property is background

To make a fixed background add background-position:fixed; or simply the following short-hand

background:transparent url(/images/bg.jpg) no-repeat fixed left bottom;

oh, thanks. Both ways seem very simple!

@abduraooft: and I will try looking at that link.
