Hi,
I made custom buttons out of div's and tried them in IE and I found out they look horrible.

Stop blaming IE for this :). I'd recommend you to check the inspiring article Recreating the button (http://stopdesign.com/archive/2009/02/04/recreating-the-button.html)

Anyway your button looks cool in FF!
Adding a style

.button div{
float:left;
}into your current CSS would make it somewhat OK in IE too

You could follow the steps in the link given by abduraooft.

OR

You could do a shortcut way, which is to slice the gradient vertically with abt 1px width and repeat-x as the background of your button.

This is definitely easier, but it's to your preference. You might also want to apply a width to the respective buttons.

thanks but I am not using a gradient, it is total css.

I alredy seen "Recreating the button" and that made me do this.

and actually I fixed it using display:inline-block.
