If you look at this page (http://exitfegs.co.uk/fourtest.html), you will notice that the border around the image is not fitting tight to the bottom. I have been unable to find an answer. I would appresiate any help.
Thank you.:D

Hi there Frank,

add this to your stylesheet...

#image img {
display:block;
}

Eric A. Meyer article (http://devedge-temp.mozilla.org/viewsource/2002/img-table/)
Also note that you have forgotten to validate you page. :eek:

Thanks, but it has made no difference. Here it is. (http://exitfegs.co.uk/fourtestc.html)

Hi there Frank,

you have popped the rule that I gave you into the wrong position. :eek:...

#image{float:right;
margin-top:2%;
margin-right:4%;
border:3px solid #666;
width:500px;

#image img {
display:block;
}

}

...it should be positioned here...

#image{float:right;
margin-top:2%;
margin-right:4%;
border:3px solid #666;
width:500px;
}
#image img {
display:block;
}

I also notice that you have redundant p tags here...

<div id="image">
<a href="index.html"><img src="img152.jpg" width="500" height="460" alt=""></a>
<P></P></div>

Sorry coothead,

Blame my 83 year old eyes. Try it again (http://exitfegs.co.uk/fourtestb.html). It's fine now.

Many thanks.

Frank

EDIT: Still in the process of validating.
My own program will not run under Windows 7..

Hi there Frank,

Blame my 83 year old eyes.
I don't tend to blame any particular part of my anatomy for my many errors,
instead I just note that I have suffered another one of my 'Senior Moments'. ;)

Hi! coothead. It should validate now. At least W3 seems happy. Thanks for your help.
I am trying to tidy up my site which has many pages written before css was on my agenda.

Keeps me out of mischief at least.
