my code is probably pretty sloppy, but why am i having formatting differences with different browsers?
the website is www.bhdc90210.com
it looks good in safari. in firefox, the top date/time line looks a little screwy.
and in internet explorer, there are major formatting issues with a lot of stuff including the text area box in the email section of "Contact Us" page as well as formatting issues with the big middle box where the main information is given to the user.( the tan table cell that is on every page), as well as the cosmetic button and skin cancer button in the navigation bar are slightly askew from rest of buttons, etc.
please help.

Thank you.

David

I'll take a shot at one part...

<center>
<a class="nav small" href="index.html" title="HOME">HOME</a>
<a class="nav small" href="staffbhdc.html" title="STAFF">OUR STAFF</a>
<a class="nav large" href="cosmetic.html" title="COSMETIC">COSMETIC PROCEDURES</a>
<a class="nav large" href="cancer.html" title="SKINCANCER">SKIN CANCER TREATMENTS</a>
<a class="nav small" href="news.html" title="INNEWS">IN THE NEWS</a>
<a class="nav small" href="office.html" title="OFFICE">OUR OFFICE</a>
<a class="nav small" href="contact.html" title="CONTACT">CONTACT US</a>
</center>

Are the two buttons you are referring to have anything to do with the fact that they say "nav large" instead of "nav small" like the others?

nav large is the name i gave to format the buttons that need two lines of text. and nav small for buttons that need one line. but the size and positioning of both button types should be the same. the css is the same. and the nav bar works in safari and firefox. just not ie.

close the table row

you're missing </tr> and you didn't close of the <center> either.

it might be an issue with IE

<center>
<table width="777" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

<tr>
<td width="777"></td>
<td width="0"><spacer type="block" width="1" height="16"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<img src="banner14.jpg" alt="" width="777" border="0">
</td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td>
<center>
<a class="nav small" href="index.html" title="HOME">HOME</a>
<a class="nav small" href="staffbhdc.html" title="STAFF">OUR STAFF</a>
<a class="nav large" href="cosmetic.html" title="COSMETIC">COSMETIC PROCEDURES</a>
<a class="nav large" href="cancer.html" title="SKINCANCER">SKIN CANCER TREATMENTS</a>
<a class="nav small" href="news.html" title="INNEWS">IN THE NEWS</a>
<a class="nav small" href="office.html" title="OFFICE">OUR OFFICE</a>

<a class="nav small" href="contact.html" title="CONTACT">CONTACT US</a>
</center>
</td>
/*remove this comment... the table row needed to be ended*/
</tr>
</table>
</center>

validate your markup first, is invalid:
http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bhdc90210.com%2F

it's hard to debug if is invalid.
