View Full Version : Can anyone help with a databinding problem?

I have been using databinding successfully for a while, but have now hit a brick wall in my latest effort.
I am binding to a text file with records in as follows:-

<a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="options(1.70)" >VER 1.70</a>

This creates a table with the label in 'VER 1.70' - or whatever is in each record. These appear as links in the table. When clicked it runs a function called 'options' passing in the version number. In this function I need to build up a new form using d.write but based on another databound text file.

This is where it all goes pair shaped. It returns an error saying 'type mismatch error in options'

It does'nt seem to like having further 'subs' or 'functions' inside the options function.

The purpose of this is to take the version number as a variable and open up a corresponding databound text file that lists a number of files in a certain suite of software.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be upmostly grateful and forever in your debt.......
